In the last blog posts I’ve been focusing on the somehow darker side of the game until I got scared myself. I mean, billiards is lots more than murders and robberies! To clean my head and widen my perspective I’ve been spending some time reading some of my fellow pool enthusiasts’ blogs. See what I’ve found:
The Pool Hall Owner – Kendrick’s Billiards Blog
Subtitled “Stories from a pool hall”, Kendrick’s Billiards Blog is all about running a billiards hall, so it is filled with insights and inside stories, business tips and information on the beverage served in the place. Kendrick’s Billiards, by the way, is in Bellingham, Washington, charges $5-6 per table and offers free pool on Fridays noon (subject to purchasing lunch at the Patio Café).
Billiards Tournaments Coverage – Billiard Pulse
As promised in its subtitle Billiard Pulse does cover the worlds of snooker, pool and carom billiards with emphasize on professional tournaments worldwide. Since its launch, only two years ago, the Billiards Pulse reviewed and provided live results of every significant pool, snooker or carom billiards that took place at any part of the world.
The Pool Player – The Tip Jar
The pool blog of Samm Diep, a pool player of Aurora, Colorado, includes in her words “random smatterings of pool thoughts & articles” or in my words intensive and in depth articles on pool playing including strategy, gambling, pool tournaments, instructions and more on more or less related topics.
